Damaged hair care: a simple repair routine at home

1 min read

Damaged hair usually becomes drier, rougher, more tangled and less elastic. One intensive mask does not solve everything: a consistent multi-step routine usually gives the best cosmetic results.

1. Gentle cleansing

Choose shampoo for the scalp and avoid unnecessarily aggressive washing of the lengths. The lather running down during rinsing is usually enough to cleanse them.

2. A more intensive mask

Apply the mask to towel-dried lengths and ends. This reduces dilution with water and allows more even distribution.

For fine, damaged hair, consider BBCOS INVIGOR mask with hyaluronic acid, or an ELEA mask for damaged hair for more intensive daily care.

ELEA mask for damaged hair 490 ml is a larger-size option for damaged and weakened lengths.

3. Leave-in care

After a mask or conditioner, use a light leave-in product, especially if hair tangles or is dried frequently. It helps maintain smoothness and reduce mechanical damage during combing.

4. Heat protection

If you use a hairdryer, straightener or curling tongs, heat protection should be a separate step. Even well-cared-for hair can quickly lose its cosmetic condition if regularly exposed to high temperatures without protection.
